Benefits of Membership

Access to the NAHS Members Website. The NAHS website www.nahs.org.uk has a ‘Membership Only’ section, which is accessible through a user name and password issued to current members on acceptance as a member.

Access to examples of policies, procedures and other documents  - avoids re-inventing the healthcare security management ‘wheel’. This is broken down into a Library and an Archive. The Library is the ‘living’ element and Members are invited to populate it with policies and procedures that can be shared with other Members.

Networking and Support. Since the management of security in healthcare settings is now a requirement for every healthbody in England, the NAHS can play an important role in supporting SMDs and LSMS with information and guidance.

Our membership of the International Association for Healthcare Safety and Security allows us a transatlantic perspective of healthcare security.
